Origins of Town Lacrosse Training
Founder Steve Manitta, a successful lacrosse coach who has the unique resume of not only coaching at the high school, international, and college levels, but creating programs at the high school and college levels. This vast, 30-year plus experience led Coach Manitta to design a program that was more about developing individual players and strengthening team concepts than tournament play and new lacrosse equipment. By combining athletic development concepts that are severely ignored, and unlocking different methods of individual and team lacrosse "IQ" understanding, Coach Manitta brings variety that makes each session fun and holds players' and coaches' attention. A former DI college head coach who has been awarded NJ state high school, NJCAA, DIII, and DII Coach of the Year, Coach Manitta's extensive experience is well documented. Under his tutelage, his players have earned 8 different All American selections and 7 different Players of the Year honors in both high school and college.
